Fine condition. Item #1205
Exceptionally fresh copy of a French-language program to the 1928 summer Olympics in Amsterdam, including descriptions of the Olympic Village (Cité Olympiade) and the stadium, as well as an account of the history of sports in Holland. Latter portion of text dedicated chiefly to unrelated tourist spots in Amsterdam. OCLC locates a single copy of this edition as of August, 2019, at the International Olympic Committee Library in Switzerland; copies in Dutch and English also noted, each with one location apiece as well (neither in North America). The International Olympic Committee never received copyright to the cover image, possibly explaining the scarcity of each edition.
