[Mexico City]: Oficina de Doña Maria Fernande de Jaúregui, 1814. First edition, 16mo, pp. 39; contemporary plain self wrappers; 7 worm holes through the pamphlet touching letters without loss of meaning, else a very good, sound copy.
Per Price's description in the Annotated catalogue of medical Americana in the library of the Wellcome Institute, "A day by day case report of the lengthy but successful drainage of a hydrosarcocele [swollen testes]...it includes an account of the preliminary attempts at a medical cure, and the conferences of physicians headed by Rafael Sagáz. Verses by the grateful and rejuvenated patient, Jose Florencio de Mora Palacios, a householder and merchant, close the account."
Wellcome Medical Americana M. 192; Medina 10967 (calling for a portrait which appears to be either a ghost or an extra-illustration--per various online catalogues, the portrait isn't found in the copies at the Wellcome, the Huntington, the National Library of Medicine, or the Bancroft). Item #624
